Hall (Oliver, 1869-1957). An original two-sided manuscript letter, signed by Oliver Hall, dated 5th March 1905, to Canon H D Rawnsley (one of the founders of the National Trust), letter is supporting the effort of the National Trust to purchase Aira Force & Gowbarrow & offering a couple of etchings or a small picture for the exhibition to raise funds, 17.5cm x 11cm approx., letter tipped-in onto card for display purposes. Hall was artist in the Royal Academy of Arts.
