EARLY NINETEENTH CENTURY EBONY LINE INLAID MAHOGANY LONGCASE CLOCK SIGNED WILLIAM BERRY, LONDON,, the 13” brass dial with silvered chapter ring, subsidiary seconds dial to the matted centre, mask capped pierce spandrels, and signed, circular silvered plaque to the arch, powered by an eight day movement, striking on a bell, and housed in a case with gilt metal mounted swan neck pediment and brass capped free standing columns to the fore corners, set above a long trunk door with elliptical panel to the centre, flanked by quarter columns to the foe corners, and raised on a conforming base with chamfered fore corners and ogee bracket feet, 86 ½” (219.7cm) high
