The paint surface shows no obvious evidence of of damage or repair. The canvas has been relined at some point in the past, however examination under UV shows no obvious evidence of further restoration. The frame is structurally sound but shows small losses to the moulded detail. The gilt finish has been overpainted at some point in the past.
