Railway. B.R. Steam and Industrial Steam. A collection of approx. 56 x medium format, black and white negatives. The negatives mostly date from the 1950's-1960's and appear to be from several sources, including Les Chater. The negatives feature BR steam across most regions, including shed scenes and industrial steam locos in the Leicester Coalfield. There are a couple of infrastructure photos as well. The negatives are mostly captioned with location where known,as well as some loco numbers and dates. Locations include: Knighton, Bagworth Collliery, Desford Colliery, Derby Works, Heaton Lodge, York Roundhouse, Chester General etc. Copyright will pass to the buyer. Sample illustrated.
