A Chinese bronze model of a turtle, 19th century. Of Longevity and Tenacity, upturned stylized head, on four web feet, its shell cast with a waving flame, height 7cm, width 14cm, depth 7.5cm. Provenance: The Michael J. Hickman Collection. Bought in Cornwall from the early 1970's to early 1980's.
