Silver repousse pair cased verge pocket watch, signed 'Etienne Masse', mid 18th Century, the outer case centred with an enamelled panel of courtiers, the inner plain case enclosing a silvered dial, pierced to the centre, signed, and with date window, the back plate with bridge cock, ruby end stone, signed and with fancy lyre shaped pillars, 53mm diameter

The outer case has light dents. Enamels are good. The inner case has rubbing around the outer edge. Light pitting to the back. The dial is good. The hour hand is possibly a replacement. Dent and probable repair with associated cracks around the stem where it joins the inner case. The watch currently ticks when wound.
