the crackle glaze in imitation of Persian fritware, painted with fruiting persimmon branches in green and yellow, with turquoise glaze borders, impressed DM and tulip mark, the underside inscribed J.B. possibly for the decorator J. Babb,

More Information

There is a crackle to the glaze all over and some imperfections to the colours and glaze. There are two small splinter chips to the edge of the foot. The unglazed terracotta under the base and inside are grubby.
