ROLEX SEA-DWELLER 'GREAT WHITE' REFERENCE 1665 WITH BOX AND PAPERS CIRCA 1969, circular black mark 1 tritium dial, date function at 3 o'clock, stainless steel bi-directional rotating bezel with a black aluminium bezel insert, 40mm stainless steel case, serial 172**** which makes it 1967, case engraved "1665", Rolex stainless steel oyster bracelet reference 93150, 501B end link, Rolex screw down crown, gas escape valve, screw down case back, engraved "Rolex" / "Oyster gas escape valve" / "Patent pending", inner case back engraved "Montres Rolex SA" / "Geneva Switzerland patented" / "407" / "1665" / "IV.67", period correct case back, non-matching serial reference, calibre 1570 Rolex automatic movement, 26 jewels, movement engraved "D788488", currently running, comes with Rolex box, booklets, punched paper guarantee undated and both original swing tags, ***please note that the dial is original but a later replacement and the last 3 digits in the early 'patent pending' case-back do not match the serial on the case or papers, whilst this is not uncommon and was probably incorrectly swapped during a service, this should be noted by any respected buyer***
