Indian percussion Carbine circa 1855-65, barrel 30", Bore Musket .750. New series side lock (1841-1852) two band steel bands, brass t/guard, lock crisp on 1st & 2nd cock. Later stamp on lockplate "Enfield 1854" faint "V R" Crown to tail of lock. A good walnut stock, brass trigger guard and butt plate. Fixed V rearsight. Enfield steel ramrod. Above average piece for its type in GWO & Condition
