CHINESE SILK EMBROIDERED SHAWL. A late 19thc/early 20thc large cream silk shawl, the square panel heavily embroidered with birds perched on branches amongst peony and other flowers, and with a tasselled fringe. Square panel 129cms square. *CR A few small stains in places around the edges mostly, one larger mark near the top of the panel. Colours still generally bright.
