A LATE 19TH CENTURY GERMAN SILVER SINGING BIRD BOX. in the manner of Karl Greisbaum, shaped rectangular form, the hinged oval cover opening to reveal a feathered bird and a pierced grill, the box decorated in in relief with floral scrolls and birds and the slide-open catch in the form of a bird; 4" (10.1cm) long.

General wear, the box winds and the bird does pop out and sign, however it is quite fiddly to get the bird to go back inside.
