CHINESE 19THC MIRROR BLACK & GILT VASE. 19thc but bearing Kangxi marks, a Chinese mirror black and gilded baluster shaped vase, painted with various flowers and leaves above a repeating pattern of leaves around the base. 25.5cms high *Provenance, formally owned by Lieutenant Commander Henry Radcliffe James, who lived at Edgeworth Manor near Stroud, and has passed through the family.

There is a stain to the rim, gilding has worn away from the rim, some gilding loss/wear to the body in places, small chips to the footrim.
