TWO PISTOLS comprising of a 48 bore sidelock percussion pistol fitted with a 3'' barrel by W Barratt & Son, Burton on Trent, it is missing its hammer and the tip of the nipple is damaged, it bears Birmingham proof marks, the barrel has retailed a considerable percentage of it's original blued finish and the walnut stock is finely chequered, the Gunmaker who traded under this title is listed between 1857 and 1870, it comes with an imitation percussion pistol of poor quality
