Seaford - India Letter / Singapore. 1834 (Aug 23) Entire letter from Singapore to Glasgow "Per James Barron", landed at Seaford, backstamped with "SEAFORD" undated circle, handstamped black "LEWES / SHIP LETTER" (S.2) overstruck by red boxed "INDIA LETTER / LEWES" (In.1) in the London Ship Letter Office, a second strike of the red India Letter handstamp on reverse. Four various rates, all apparently crossed out. Some soiling and staining but unusual.
