WW1 German G98/05 Butcher Bayonet


14 1/4 inch, single edged blade widening towards the point.  Wide fuller.  Forte marked "Waffenfabrik Mauser AG. Oberndorf". Back edge dated "15".  Steel, turn up quillon crossguard.  Steel pommel with Ordnance stamps.  Wooden grooved slab grips.  Contained in its steel scabbard which has been reverse fitted into its black leather frog.
