WW1 Italian Verletti Bayonet, officially shortened for WW1, with single edged fullered blade 300mm in length, maker marked "WK & Cie, Solingen". Hooked quillion crossguard serial numbered "4308". Wooden grips, working release catch. Overall length 434mm. Complete with brass mounted leather scabbard with matching serial number to frog stud.
