A travelling chest used by Eric Butler-Henderson, a director of the Great Central Railway, to convey a dinner service, a brass plate on the side ERIC BUTLER-HENDERSON ESQ No 3, 5½"x2½". The chest measures 32½"x19¾", height 19½", of polished wood with steel bands. The interior is lined with green felt, as are the lift-out sections (the felt worn in places). Labels still in place read, table candlesticks, bowl, cup, etc. The chest is complete with hasp lock, key and substantial handles to each end. (Dispatch by Mailboxes/Collect from Banbury Depot)
