Napoleonic War Period 1796 Infantry Pattern Sword.

scarce and good quality example by Osborne 1798. Straight 32 inch blade with etched decoration depicting crowned GR cypher, panel of a crown above BA, initial E.J, Britannia etc. The hilt of regulation pattern with gilt single bar, urn pommel and wire grip. Complete with steel scabbard. The sword has been professionally restored, with some pitting to the blade, etching clear.
