A DB 12 bore flintlock coaching carbine by Leonard, c 1820, adapted from a sporting gun, 32½" overall, twist barrels cut down to 16½"; the signed scroll engraved stepped locks having French style cocks, raised pans and roller on frizzen springs; walnut haf stock with engraved steel mounts, small oval escutcheon, and brass tipped ramrod.
