A worksplate, PECKETT, 2075, 1946, from a standard gauge 0-4-0ST new in May 1946 to the Oxford & District Gas Company. Passed to the Southern Gas Board on nationalisation in 1949. Scrapped in 1960 when the gas works closed. Engraved brass, 15¼"x8¼", the front lightly polished, with much of the original wax infill remaining. (Postage Band: C)
