An oak cased longcase clock, the 30cms square brass dial with silvered chapter ring, Roman and Arabic numerals, subsidiary seconds dial, date aperture and tablet signed 'Roger Cossins, Crewkerne', fitted with a 30-hour movement striking on a bell, 198cms high.
The back boards to the case have been replaced and there is no seat board. The movement is screwed down to the cheeks. The trunk door is flush with no warping but some shrinkage splits to the trunk base. The chapter ring on the dial is scratched and the movement appears complete. Missing the minute hand.
