A large impressive porcelain dinner service, Staffordshire mid 19th century. A highly decorative display, the tureens being of majestic proportions. This previously belonged to Sir Thomas Dunlop (1st Baronet) a well known, influential Scottish businessman, and passed to the current owner by descent. This service was in use for a period, and some items are showing signs of wear to gilding etc. Some hairline cracks to some tureens were noted.
