A BRASS INLAID WRITING SLOPE, having brass vacant cartouche, escutcheon, corner bands and lower drawer with inset handle, the interior having two non-matching brass covered inkwells, a covered pen tray, and non-original writing surface, contains receipt dated 1961, a receipt for a vaccination of a baby dated 1848, an ebony shoe horn/button hook and sundry items, dimensions of box: height 14.5cm x width 45cm x depth 25.5cm (1) (Condition Report: generally ok, requires a little attention, writing surface would benefit from recovering, wear to lower corners, wear and tear commensurate with age)
