An early 20th century cast iron sign for Stothert & Pitt Ltd. Engineers of Bath 1918. The iron sign dated 1918. Measures approx. 23cm x 106cm.
Founded in 1855, Stothert & Pitt were based between the Kennett and Avon Canal & Lower Bristol Road and best known for their dock & electric cranes. Information & some of their collection can be found in the Museum of Bath at Work.
