WW2 Late Arrivals Club, Winged Boot Badge. This was an unofficial award given to R.A.F. pilots or
members of crews who have had to abandon their aircraft either in the air or on the ground as a result of enemy
action in the Western Desert, returning to their squadron later than their estimated time of arrival. Many of these
airmen have been given up for lost. Nice Egyptian Hall Marked Silver Badge.
