An antique gold and bloodstone propelling pencil. The pencil of tubular form having a reeded design and engraved scrolling and foliate decorations to sections. The pencil having a round cut bloodstone panel to the terminal. Marked T. Butler & Co Makers London. Unmarked however surface tests indicate 14ct gold. Measures 50.8cm x 0.8cm. Weighs 11.2g.
