Star Lot: A fabulous antique 19th century (dated 1839) original oil on canvas painting featuring a traditional Dutch style still life. Beautifully rendered in a warm palette of ochres and deep browns. Very well observed with lovely softness achieved in the texture of the bread. Signed bottom left and housed in a beautiful antique moulded gilt frame. Some superficial damage, would come up wonderful with a professional clean. George Rowney & Co. framer's stamp to verso.
