An 18c English lantern clock, the dial signed Thos. Hully, Coggshall and converted in the 19c to a single fusee movement with a passing strike on the hour. The 20cm sq. dial originally has a single hand but now has two and has Roman numerals and engraved centre and corners. The top frets are galleried and the bell is held on brass straps. The side and rear doors are missing. Clock stands 38cm h overall.
The movement is complete and will run if raised slightly to allow the pendulum to swing. The case has been modified and has many original parts removed.
