A REGENCY SILK DRESS;
the pinkish red and grey striped silk with lace insert with quilted detail

Good overall appearance. Left shoulder with wear to piping at the top of one of the sections. Wear to net lining under shoulder. Minor discoloration to lining of armpit and lining threadbare in places. Upper hooks at the back of the dress are missing but eyes are intact. Some loose threads. One of the chain ribbon detail panels partially detached from seam. Interior armpit lining slightly threadbare and with some discoloration and starting to wear. Inner shoulder seam starting to slightly detach in places. Small stain to lining of bodice and loose threads.
Lace detail to bottom of sleeves discolored but otherwise in good condition. Some discoloration to piped cuffs.
One small tear to the body of the dress and patch of discoloration/staining and small hole near to tear. Grey mark below tear. Small holes on left side of dress skirt between top three ruched panels. Ruching detached at various points but holding in position.
On the reverse of the dress there is a small tear and repair just below waistband. Upper sides of seam to right side showing signs of strain/possibly stitched repair. Back of main skirt area good. Another small hold between ruched panels. Significant stained areas at base of dress at the back. Visible on the outer and inner of the dress, and affecting the lower ruching. Small hole below the third ruch at the back.
