Group of two (2) 1890s 'Widowed Head' Queen Victoria silver Halfcrowns. Includes (1) 1895 Halfcrown, and (2) 1896 Halfcrown. Obverses: Old Head third head of Victoria, wearing veil and diadem, by Sir Thomas Brock with 'VICTORIA · DEI GRA · BRITT · REG ·' around. Reverses: crowned shield of royal arms within a collar with a St George pendant that divides the date. 'FID · DEF · IND · IMP ·' with 'HALF CROWN' below. Composition: 925 silver. Weight: 14.14g (each). Diameter: 32.3mm (each).
