A 19th century diamond and pearl cross pendant/brooch, the stylised cross with raised nine pearl centre in yellow metal, surrounded by rose cut diamond border, closed to the reverse, 2.5cm wide, 9gms

Total diamond weight estimated 0.70ct
All diamonds present. Nibbles and inclusions are present to some diamonds (seen with x10 loupe)
Setting edge to terminals of cross appear low.
Pearls are well matched with a pinkish cream lustre. Varying in size from approx 3.5 - 4.1mm. All show surface blemishes (seen under x10 loupe)
No obvious splits or repairs seen to the front.
General scratches and scuffs seen to the closed metal reverse, commensurate with age and wear.
Hinge pin could possibly be a later replacement, with the pin be base metal and there be possible repair to the catch.
Would benefit from a clean.
