An 18th century glass, the ogee bowl engraved with a bud, a flower and a bird in flight, upon a double series opaque twist stem on circular foot with unpolished pontil, 14.8cm high, together two Irish silver salt spoons by West & Sons, Dublin 1877, 9.5cm long, a silver open salt and associated silver spoon, and a further selection of 19th century and later glassware (Qty)
The ogee bowl glass shows a small stain to one leaf of the floral motif, and a chip approximately 9mm wide to the foot. The jug shows a loss to one side of the spout 1cm wide, and an internal fracture to the top handle joint. The small footed bowl shows a flaked chip to the rim 8mm wide. The two glass salts show chips and nibbles to high points. The remaining glasses each show evidence of possible grinding to the foot. The silver pieces show tarnishing, wear and scratching commensurate with age and use.
