Complete GNR wooden post somersault signal including a GNR(D) lever, purple back blind, LNER lamp case (no interior), ladder, finial, wooden arm and all fittings, most marked GNR. The signal is 3.9m from ground to the tip of the finial and the post fits into a steel €˜foot' that bolts straight to the ground. The post came from a former gantry at Preston Butler Street, the arm and fittings came from No 2 signal at Stanton Junction. All in good working order although now needing some restoration, in particular the wooden post which is in relatively poor condition. Buyer can collect from near Tonbridge in Kent; signal will be dismantled ready for collection and help can be given for loading. A few photo-copied photos/plans accompany the lot.
