POLYNESIAN ISLANDS TONGAN HARDWOOD PADDLE/WAR CLUB. Probably 19thc, a large 19thc hardwood paddle or war club, the head of flattened form with central ridge, with a plain handle with pierced hole, and the centre of the paddle with a woven textile section. 128cms long. *CR The head has various chips around the edges with one larger chip on one side, the ridge has a couple of small chips lower down the top section, textile covering has some holes and bits missing, handle generally fine with a small nick around the pierced hole.
