(37.5 x 26cm.). * Provenance: From the collection of the late Robin A. Fenner, renowned expert on Caparne's life and work and author of 'A Genius Undeclared, The Life, works and times of William John Caparne F.R.H.S.', pub. 1994 and Vol.2, 'Guernsey, My Heaven on Earth', pub. 1998. This watercolour is listed in the 1994 volume, under "A listing of all known water-colour drawings of Daffodils by William John Caparne", p.90.
*Condition: Acidic mount. A few tiny scratches to bodycolour painted background to top margin. Minor mount marks to centre lower margin. A couple of very minor fox marks. Colours remain strong - good overall.
