CIVIL CENSOR MAIL - THE PORT LOUIS CENSOR LABELS, TYPES I - IIID (BLACK, RED, BLUE OR ORANGE TEXTS); 1939-41 collection of covers with the various "Opened by Censor/Mauritius" or plain "OPENED BY/CENSOR" labels used in Mauritius Types I (with Unique? 28 Aug. 1939 ex India with Type I label tied by purple double-oval "CENSORSHIP/OFFICE/MAURITIUS") through to Type IIID; inc. some ingoing covers ex India (3), Luxemburg, KUT, Burma, or Egypt; plus good range used on covers from Mauritius to other countries (GB x8, USA x5, New Caledonia x2, S. Africa x3, Madagascar x3, & S. Rhodesia). Some very scarce types included and a few with other countries labels in addition. Very good study.
