A pair of antique 18ct gold, sapphire and diamond drop earrings probably French, late 19th / early 20th century, the two foliate plaques chased with floral and foliate scrolls, with openwork scroll borders, the larger, lower plaque with six smaller leaves fringing the lower edge, set throughout with graduated round cut sapphires and rose cut diamonds, with convertible backs, either for use as clips or with hinged posts for pierced ears, overall drop 60mm.
