Frame - Sunbeam mk. 2 (England), a huge improvement from the mk. 1
Engine - Sunbeam 500cc DT 90, 30 bhp and 5500 rpm
Clutch - Sunbeam, single plate
Carburettor - Amal, twin float
Fuel - RD1 or PMS
The 1930 mk. 2 with a greatly improved engine and a totally redesigned frame, began to become fairly competitive. It housed the DT 90 engine which was a modified version of the famous 'model 90' which had won 2 senior TT races in preceding years.
