London. 1844-46 Entires from Le Havre to London both with red boxed "M.B", the first with "SHIP LETTER / LONDON" datestamp, charged 1/3; the second with straight line "SHIP LETTER" backstamp, charged 10d. The 1844 entire with file folds but an early use, endorsed "par steamer Sphinx", the 1846 entire with minor edge soiling but otherwise fine. (2).
