A LATE VICTORIAN SILVER LOCKET AND A WHITE METAL BELCHER CHAIN, the oval hinged locket, decorated with a floral and foliate pattern with a vacant cartouche, hallmarked Birmingham 1879, fitted with a large tapered bail, opens to reveal two black and white photos of a lady and a gentleman, approximate locket dimensions length including bail 56mm x width 33mm, suspended from a belcher chain fitted with a bolt spring clasp, stamped 925, length 480mm, approximate gross weight 34.9 grams (condition report: general light wear, locket opens and closes with ease, clasp in working condition)
