An early 19th century French masonic apron, cream silk embroidered in chenille and metal thread, with gold sequins, featuring the set square and compasses, the letter G for Geometry, relating to building, the flap worked in silver, the apron bound in pale blue silk braid, backed in a turquoise blue silk, approx. 32 cm by 30.5cm
Light marks to the silk, small split on the flap, wear to the back where the item has been stored folded.
