COACHING - "LONDON & DUBLIN PARCEL OFFICE" RECEIPT FOR PARCEL "PER P.O. PACKET FROM HOLYHEAD"; 12 Mar. 1831 printed Dublin receipt (4½ x 7½ins.; Small fault at top and light gum stains at left & lower right) with coach & four horses at top "For Expenses on [a parcel] per Post-Office Packet from Holyhead" listing 8s/- for "Land Carriage to Holyhead", 1s-0d "Freight to Dublin" & 1s-0d for "Porterage" making a total of 10s-0d to pay. Also listing the various Mailcoach services from around England via Holyhead and the Howth Coach. We have only recorded two other examples of this receipt. Rare item from the Parcels firm that used special labels on parcels from the early 1820s.
