1786-1841 collection of ship letters nearly written up on pages and with markings identified, including 1786 entire from Savannah to Dover with ‘DOVER/SHIP LRE’ handstamp and Bishop mark for 24 AP, 1811 entire from Philadelphia to Suffolk with oval ‘Ship Lre/Isle of Wight’ handstamp, 1822 entire from Madras to London with boxed ‘India Letter/Hastings’ marking, 1825 outgoing ship letter with red oval ‘Post Paid Ship Lr/London’ for 4 NO missent to Madras and readdressed.
