Art Nouveau Fine White Porcelain Lustre Jardiniere A continental centrepiece planter/jardiniere of ovoid form with applied aesthetic style leaf banding and square repeat detail to body and rim in moss green and cobalt blue. The corners flanked by two exquisitely moulded nude maidens in classical drapery, each languidly posed against Napoleonic style lion head masks with laurel garlands to mouth. The whole on footed base, with gilt trim to interior and base. Wonderful subtle pearlescent lustre throughout. Good condition, indiscernible, worn gilt mark to base, impressed numbers 2GGR to base. Length, 23 inches, width 14.5 inches
