1959 Royal Enfield Clipper, 249cc. Registration number 129 YUH. Frame number 1895. Engine number 5825.
The Clipper was launched in 1954, as a cheap and basic get you to work machine, it used an old-fashioned engine with a cast iron barrel and cylinder head. Despite the budget credentials of the Clipper, the finish was good. Paint was thickly applied and for the few years of production was in olive green, though you could have it in red as an extra.
YUH is an older restoration that will require recommissioning before use.
