A large 19th Century rectangular tureen and stand decorated with two armourial 'Fari quae sentiat' crests (believed to be for the Walpole family) against a crimson ground with gilt detailing, unmarked, possibly Chamberlain Worcester, stand 36cm x 27cm, tureen 24cm x 31cm, both S/D.
The turreen has damage to the lid, corners and running cracks to the base. The stand has nibble chips to the edges. Both pieces are quite heavily rubbed to the gilding.
