Belgium: large blue folder of c.160 black and white/tinted postcards of 1905 Liege World Fair showing pavilions, displays, machinery, attractions, amusements, restaurants and general views in well written-up collection. Some postally used and a few of exhibition label examples.
From the collection of Tom Pring, a highly respected member of the Belgian Study Circle and the author of two works on Belgian issues, ‘Fine Barbe Varieties’ (2009) and ‘1893 Armoires du Royaume’ (2015). Pring was half-way through a work on the Ostend-Dover Route, which he was sadly unable to complete.
