A VERY FINE PAIR OF EARLY 20TH CENTURY SILVER FRUIT DISHES, each with beautiful chased foliage scrolls to the rim & pierced body, to the interior are the maker’s mark: RFM in script for R F Mosley & Co (Robert Fead Mosley), date letter of ‘K’ for 1921. Engraved crest to the centre of each interior with the Latin phrase: Sola Virtus Nobilitat – meaning Only Virtues May Make One Noble. Dimensions: 25.5cm wide x 5.5cm tall. Total weight: 24ozt. Some minor dints to the edge of the bowl interior otherwise excellent.
