An LNER Locomotive oval brass worksplate from a Gresley Class A1/A3 4-6-2, 4477 Gay Crusader. 4477 on separate brass strip, with original number 1477 still legible on casting but filed off. Built at Doncaster Works in 1923. Withdrawn October 1963 and scrapped in December 1963. 230mm x 130mm. QGC, paint stripped. £150-200
