A large late 19th century Japanese carved wood and shibyama two fold screen, decorated in high relief with eagles and other birds amongst the branches, with bone ivory and shell, 189 x 174cm.
Frame joints firm. Central panels (both sides) Large stress cracks. Minor loss of ivory and bone.
